Anna and Taylor in Moviefone’s 10 Breakout Stars of 2009 list
Anna Kendrick and Taylor Lautner both made Moviefone’s list of 10 breakout stars of 2009 list. I'm so glad that Taylor got 1st and that they chose a VERY nice picture of Taylor! :) 
7. Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick has a lot going for her. She co-stars in that hit film series ‘Twilight,’ and just snagged a National Board of Review prize for her naively overconfident, quick-witted turn as a newbie firing-agent in Jason Reitman’s ‘Up in the Air.’ At only 24, Kendrick has proved to be a mighty talent in both comedy and drama, garnering a heap of Oscar buzz going toe-to-toe with George Clooney in ‘Air.’
Next Up: Edgar Wright’s ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. the World’ and, of course, reprising her role as Jessica in ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.’

Graduating from Bella’s long-haired admirer in the first film, Lautner is able to flex his muscles, quite literally, with a much larger, brooding part in the second vampire flick. There is a reason why Taylor beat out the rest of the notable names on this list for the top spot: sheer box office brawn. The Twihards have spoken: Team Jacob all the way — well, for now at least.

Plagiarism suit against Stephenie Dismissed!!
Author Jordan Scott claimed Stephenie Meyer plagiarized parts of her Breaking Dawn book from Scott’s book The Nocturne. Well the case has been dismissed.Meyer’s publisher, Hachette Book Group, released the following statement:
“In his ruling, [Judge Otis D. Wright II] stated that the two works have little in common and that the ‘characters in the two works are vastly different.’ The decision admonishes Scott for ‘the deceptive presentation of the alleged similarities’ and notes that she ‘has twice manipulated aspects of the subject works in order to create the appearance of similarity.’ While an attempt to ride on someone else’s success may not be surprising, it is encouraging that the courts and the public are not so easily misled. This judgment confirms what we have known all along — Breaking Dawn is a wholly original work by Stephenie Meyer and this was a frivolous lawsuit brought for the purposes of publicizing the plaintiff’s personal publishing aspirations. Hachette Book Group and Stephenie Meyer are pleased to be able to put this case behind us.”
Well duh! Why the heck would Stephenie Meyer plagiarize.
